UKRAINE

Supporting those displaced by war and violence.

WHO is actively responding to the health emergency caused by the war in Ukraine by working with local authorities and nearly 200 partners. Efforts focus on delivering medical supplies, deploying medical teams, and ensuring critical health services continue despite the crisis. Priorities include mental health, health system rehabilitation, and access to care for displaced populations. WHO also emphasizes protecting health workers and facilities, ensuring they remain functional and accessible. In 2022 alone, their support reached 8.5 million people.
