Years of conflict and crisis have left over 21 million people in Yemen in need of humanitarian aid, with women and children most affected. Nearly half of the country’s health facilities are only partially functioning or completely shut down due to severe shortages and ongoing instability.
WHO is reaching 12.6 million people with a wide-ranging health response, including treatment for acute malnutrition, maternal and newborn care, support for chronic and mental health conditions, disease outbreak response, and critical WASH services to prevent infections in healthcare settings.
